While the game crashed using DirectX11, I managed to notice that I got a message saying "Device Driver AMD Driver has stopped responding and has successfully recovered." Naturally, I checked, uninstalled, and re-installed the drivers fromĪMD for my Radeon 290X video card, specifically designed for Windows 10. Using DirectX 9, repeating the exact steps, I do not get this issue. I was playing Total War: Shogun 2 earlier, and it crashes on a loading screen into battle using DirectX 11. The installation has went smoothly, no errors.
